In order to enhance the care provided and enable each
Resident to fulfil his or her personal, social and psychological
needs, our team of dedicated Activities Co-ordinators plan regular group and individual activities, such as:

* Fit 4 Life fitness classes

* Mobility Therapy

* Sonas Programme (Dementia Specific)

* Reminiscence Therapy

* Pet Therapy

* Complimentary Therapies (e.g. Aromatherapy)

* Coordination Games

* Arts and Crafts

* Group Discussion

* Keyboard/accordion/guitar music & singalong

* Bingo

* Knitting

* Pot-planting

* Afternoon Tea trips to local hotels/garden centres

* Trips to local theatres

* Religious Services

In addition, birthdays, anniversaries and annual festivities
(e.g. Halloween, Christmas, St Patrick's Day, Easter) are celebrated.

Hazel Hall Nursing Home is situated in the town of Clane, Co. Kildare and is serviced by nearby banks, post office, shops, restaurants, library and community halls. Whilst there
are pre-organised day trips for Residents, the team will assist the Resident to participate in his or her preferred external activities outside of these arrangements wherever possible.

Daily newspapers are delivered upon request and there is
a selection of reading materials available in our small in-house library.
